We would like to update all of you regarding the COVID-19 situation in the Nordic countries.

All countries have taken drastic actions in order to reduce the spreading of the virus. Nordicon have established a COVID-19 policy that are being updated to all staff as situation changes.

In practice it means that all staff have now been prepared to work from their home. So far we have offered the possibility to work from home, but with implementation look a bit different from country to country. In Norway 100% of all staff work from home as of today and in Sweden, Finland and Denmark it carries from 30-50% of the staff working from home.

There are strict restrictions for travelling and meetings, especially in larger crowds. Hygiene is important and supported in all our offices with necessary action, f.e. here in Finland we have used hand desinfection liquids for two weeks now.

These are just few actions that has been implemented and we monitor the development carefully. Our services are running as normal still, but we foresee a huge drop of import in April and May. Suppliers are safeguarded and followed up closely. Trucking companies and terminals are running as normal. Nordicon is taking the necessary steps in order to reduce the damages that can be caused by this Corona virus. We will keep you duly updated of any development.
